Well I want to get some new shoes for my new 3rd gen SII Lude.. And with the rims I'm going to do a drop at the same time to save me the hassle of having uneven or whatever ride height... (I don't know much about wheels, offset, springs etc...)...

Anyway I have no idea on names of wheels or where to look for new wheels...

These are the kinds of styles I'm looking towards... 17"

What brands should I be looking at (I don't want something too expensive...)
Any help would be much appreciated :)

Look at what the traders on this site are offering, or you can check out online stores that sell relatively cheap wheel & tyre packages such as: Tempe tyres, Ozzy Tyres, Big O, etc. (google the names).

are you gonna drop it on springs? or coilovers? if its springs you wont need to worry bout adjusting the height.. if u go 15 15" 4x100' 7"J x 15"offset 45 is prob wat ur looking for otherwise go to bob jane or ozzy tyres they should help you out with rims sizes
hope that helps
