Hey guys, what will I need for this conversion?

ECU, Dizzy, O2 Sensor... Anything else? What about the spark leads, will they have to change also? And what else am I missing...

Cheers.

will u be using the OBD1 ECU? if so ...then you will need the OBD0 to OBD1 wiring harness. - this is only if your engine is OBD0.

Fuel injector plugs will have to be changed to OBD1, and depending on what type of injectors you will be using, you may or may not require an injector resistor block.

High impedence injectors 10 - 16 ohms = Saturated = do not need injector resistor box
Low impedence injectors 1.7 - 3ohms = Peak & Hold = u will require injector resistor box.

Spark leads are the same,

it would also be beneficial to everyone to know what car do you currently have (im assuming 88 Crx) and what engine do you want to use/ or have - with or without VTEC. :p

here is a very good website for info specifically for 88 CRX's

http://www.88-crx.com/index.htm

read and enjoy!

Thanks mate yeah I know I need the harness aswell. I'll be changing to 440cc Saturated injectors so that should be sweet.

Oh and yeah - It's an 88 CRX with a ZC :p

And thanks XB-16-AX good link

As above except the comment about changing the injector plugs makes things a bit confusing. You don't need to change the injectors or plugs to do the conversions unless you want to. What set up are you running to need to have 440cc injectors, you will only need to run these if you have a high output turbo set-up.

you will need to bypass the resistor block, saturated injectors are high resistance so you wont need the resistor block.

get a obdo to obd1 harness makes things alot easyer ( look at the above signiture )

get a dizzy from a si civic

Cheers.

Setup will be a full-race kit with a T3/T4 running 7psi with stock internals for the time being

could you just get obd1 plugs for the ecu.. and just solder the wires from the obd0 harness to save yourself upto $200?

ECU-MAN

i might be doing this to my b16a ef in the near future..
if i have to solder for a couple of hours and spend 40 bucks on wires and plugs.. it beats 180.. but then i guess u stuck with obd1

all depends what you want to do with it in the future
