94 Accord.. what rims do i get?? hella confused

yea.. watsup guys (and girls)... im new to these forums.. but im a long time member on nissansilvia.com.... and i recently bought my 1st car... 94 Accord..
its dead stock.. except for the stereo..

im goin for the VIP look and want to get some nice rims.. 18, 19, or even 20's.. realistically 19's would be perfect.. 18's is the lowest i wanna go.. unless u can persuade me otherwise

so could u post pics of the rims u got.. or have seen.. iv looked around this site but havnt found nething..
ne members willin to sell their rims also tell me.. but i will onli buy in Melb..

also if u got ne suggestions on some nice rims that would fit and suit plz tell me..

depends what u want - chrome, black, gold. i'd suggest going deep dish.

anyway, i like going into tempe tyres for choice of rims. check out their site

I had similar rims on my old accord...

Mine weren't chrome however...and im positive that you can achieve a "pimp" look, without having to get chrome.

I bought the rims off a trader on this forum...However i would not recommend purchasing rims off him. I sold the car 6-7 months ago...a month after i sold it, i was told that all the rims had structual cracks in them, and that one of them had visably cracked along the face of the rim around the wheel nuts...

Basically...don't buy cheap shit. Those rims from tempe = cheap shit.

they are only 18's...lowered as low as it would go on tein basic coilovers.

I'm not sure where you would be able to get the non chrome version of these wheels. I looked for ages and ages...and like i mentioned, finally found someone on this forum that sells them. Unfortuneately...the rims he sells are copies and are extremely shit quality. The rims broke after a few months of being on the car.

I am not sure if Lowenhart make these rims in non chrome...but i would say thats your only option...pretty expensive option also.

That would be in US dollars...Plus shipping...Plus tyres

You would need to find out whether they offer shipping to Australia first...and then be bent over when they tell you how much shipping is...I estimate probably $300-400(maybe more)

So thats 1268-1368 US, which is 1543 to 1665...Then you might even need to add tax onto that when it reaches Oz...

so maybe 2k...just for rims...Then at least another 1k for tyres...

i just bought another car, its silver 95 accord, i will put the rims on my lancer to the car, its the one that Zelo5 has but 19' and black centre, ill post pics in a weeks time or so, still finding coilovers now

as a matter of fact...i think you should disregard everything i have said negative about this particular person...

I myself, never experienced the rims breaking. I had them on for a month and they were fine. It wasn't until a month after i sold the car, that i recieved a phone call telling me they had all broken.

Who knows that this new owner did...Heck, they could have over-tighted the nuts...ran into a gutter...driven the car like a maniac. However, there may also be the chance that the rims were a faulty bunch...

You should speak to eskimo and get the guys details...might be a good idea...

Sorry if i came across too negative...You should try them out and see for yourself.

hmmm CD5 accord just doesn't do it for me in terms of BLING/VIP look... the nose is too sharp/slanted downwards; obviously good for aerodynamics but it isn't a bold design at all whatsoever.

on the other extreme, there are cars like stock chrysler 300C's that look more bling/VIP than any modded accord. Also, old S-classes/7 beamers, etc. can look much better.

accord is a conservatively styled sedan with sharp but gentle aesthetic features. simply cannot bling it properly unless you change the whole body kit to a wider and chunkier one; but then that ruins the car and isn't worth the price given what an accord is worth.

yeah dude... my rims are 18's they look pretty good, and im happy with the way is has made the car look (i had HP's before, then decided to go all out) the car has been lowered about 3 1/2" all round, so its pretty slammed LOL but i dont scrub out very much

i rekon chrome looks way too cheap and un-stylish, the only time it looks alright is when its deep dish and is at night on a black car.

get some nice deep dish polished rims or something for your accord like those fabulous profound replicas.
and get 18's not 19's, 19's just look weird and out of place on an CD5

onli had them for like 2 weeks.. not even... neway im back to stock rims 4 lyf now lol...

What offset were they?

i ran into a problem with mine.. Dolce DC12 20INCH the offset was not good.. lol i couldnt SHLAMM my car, could only lower it above the rim so im trying to sell them lol, gonna get 20x7.5 instead of 8.5 so it can be slammed.
