avatar problem

Just searched up an old post about people having problems with avatar's not working? just tried to host one from an optus server as well as upload to oz honda and it doesn't seem to work with IE or Firefox.

Just wondering was there ever a solution to this? Is it something i got to do at my end?

Most other people's avatars seem to fine?

why not just save pic on ur computer. and browse it and save it ?

yep. See it's wierd cause i had it working a few months back and then it randomly stopped working.

Now when i try put a new pic up it wont work. gives me a red cross in IE and a Juzz18's avatar text hyperlink in firefox.

Just found it in my pics folder. It's not my car. I got a yellow type-r with the black recaros.

I've seen some people with gif's in their avatars so I guess its able to work, however I can't seem to upload mine properly, it shows, but its not moving? Is there something I'm doing wrong?

I've tried saving onto my computer and uploading, also tried just using the url but that isn't working either.

I think animated gifs were disabled for avatars a while back.

I was wrong, I think animated gifs do work with the avatar.

its because the gif has to be resized from 184px wide to 125px. when the site does it automatically it doesn't animate it anymore.

you need to edit the file so that its only 125px wide and then upload it. you will need to edit it with something that is compatible with animated gifs
