Engine Oil for B18C

Since winter is around ~ Would it be recommendable to move down to 5W40? so the oil heat up faster? also... i have CAI ~ so would it b safe ?

CAI nothing to do with engine oil or temperature.


Winter in Australia isnt COLD ( IE low 10's or even minus , like some of europe etc) So normal 10-30w (FEO ) is fine.

Just make sure you baby your car while it warms up (coolant reaches optimum temp) to avoid damaging the engine.

You can use 0w-30, 5w-30, 10w-30, 0w-40, 5w-40 and 10w-40 for your car. FEO is just fine for winter.
