96 integra wiring

hey guys

-was just wornking on mates dc2 wiring up a headunit
-wired it to a harness which plugs into the stocky wiring
-when i turn on the headunit no sound comes from the speakers
-at the same time the headlights dont work (was working befor headunit was wired up)
-only highbeam and parkers work
-i have checked all fuses inside the car and in the engine bay
-used a multi meter and saw that no power was comming into the headlight wire

can someone help me with this problem? very keen on getting the wiring back to normal

yea headunit turns on just no sound, and its a brand new headunit

wot harness u get?? its probably not suitable for the car/h.d
y dont u get cut the wires n connect them ur self, its not hard.

yeah, it fits the OEM plug but ill give that a go tomorrow, and as for the headlights any ideas?

if head light dosent work after u unplug everything. then u probably blown the fuse.....
2nd thought it shoudlent b.. wot fuse dose the head light go under?? cos head unit goes under interior lighting or sumthing...... from memory
