View Full Version : Wires on Apexi Neo - Confusion??? :[

I having a go at installing an apexi NEO in my Civic ej8 and needed some clarifying about some of the wires and the ECU.

Firstly before i start i am assuming i am working with an obd2a ecu..correct? and the pin out diagram for a d16y8 would basically the same as b16a... correct?

What i confused about is the harness for the neo has two ignition wires and two ground wires, and when looking at ECU diagram (http://www.ff-squad.com/technet/wiring.obd2a.htm) theres seems to be many different powers and grounds.. is there any difference between these or can i just use any?

What also add to confusion is the wiring diagram that came with NEO manual only identifies one power and ground, but both the respective ignition and ground harness wires are connected to the one wire identified on the ecu.

so can any1 shed some light for me..any help?

Connect them both as indicated, approx 1cm appart on the same power & ground wires.:thumbsup:

what will that do ?? any difference ?? i just wired in same area.. ?

also did ur car run normally without tuning the afc neo ??

i dunno if made a difference but it works fine so i just left it lol.

Yeah it run fine, jut like normal, i didnt touch of the settings till i got it tuned and had no probs.

wat did u use for ur pressure sensor ?? in and out setting ? ?

I used the MAP wire, the one that is indicated in the diagram that came with it. i think that wat u asking?

like in the setting when u press the right button.did u set the in and out setting as 6 and 6 ??
