Hi,

I was just wondering if u took the dash cluster off an EK VTi would it fit straight into an EK CXi

the reason for this is the CXi has no tacho and I was wanting to replace the dash with a VTi one

thx

I do believe it fits. I was, well still am going to do the same thing but im finding it hard to actually find a new cluster (or second hand).

Ive heard from alot of people its as simple as pulling out the old one, and putting in the new one, however when i called up the wreckers, some guy told me it requires new wiring harness and a whole pile of other shit, so im not to sure now.

Let me know how it goes.

One could obviously change the milage on the new set of gauges to coincide with the actual kilometres on the engine? Corrupt auto-shop style...

where in melbourne can I get one installed and at how much??

also would I have to recalibrate any of the needles so they read correctly?

the reason being the cluster I have found I suspect is JDM (max speed of 180)
If I plugged it in, will it still give me correct readings or do I have to get it calibrated?
