hay yo, my car keeps pulling to the left, i got a wheel alignment but its still pulling, then i em to re-do wheel alignment and switch the tires around (from front to back, left to right) or something like that, the guy said there may be a problem with the suspension coz its still pulling, is this a possible reason? and if so, what is the exact problem?

cheers aye

when the guy did a wheel alignment he should have been able to tell if it was suspension issues. not just say 'it could be'. unless they only did a balence.

Wheel alignment or seized caliper

the guy that did it said that if it continues 2 pull its most probably the suspension, that was after he initially told me it needed another wheel alignment, then he said that it needed 2 switch the tires around, so after 2 wheel alignements and a tire switch he says suspension so im just getting second opinions on what could be the issue with the suspension to see if it really needs 2 have its whole suspension changed

he shouldve been able to tell you if anything was bent in your suspension system when he looked at it

check if wheels / offset is suitable for the car.

Sometimes your rims are to big for your car, or you should check your front end e.g tie rods, tie rod ends and wheel bearings. To do that jack up your make sure both wheels are off the ground and shake the wheels from left and right and then up and down. Sometimes when these things are loose they can cause your car to pull.

Yeah i had same problem but wheel allignement fixed it up. I got mine done at pedders, they did the whole 28point(or something) checking thing.

you dont ever need 2 wheel alignments, unless you have changed a major suspension component, in which case you shouldnt have had an alignment before hand anyways.

if the wheels are correctly aligned, then there is no reason for it to be pulling.

ask to see the computer printout of your alignment, then post it here.

if they refuse to give it to you, for any reason, demand your money back and go elsewhere

hmm so i can ask for the wheel alignment slip? i think that would be a good idea, it really pulls if i hit a pothole or something, not when i brake but, and my steering wheel duznt sit centre either. but yeah, i'll go back to them and ask for the slip then i'll post the slip here, thanks 4 the advice lads. i'll let u no how i go.

Go back to the place and demand for the alig' report. Pedders have always been realy good like that to me and the people i know.

I had the same problem in the past, But it was post accident repairs, it had a bent streering nuckle - The alig' report just confirmed it

uneven caster will cause pulling issues as well.
check the caster. a little difference is ok.
too much will cause bad pulling because one wheel will sit further forward than the other.

Bent chassis rails can also cause alignment to be out of whack and not correctable with only stock adjustment options. Have you driven into any curbs, light poles, other cars, people?

Was it full wheel alignment or just a check?
