hey hey fellow brotha's,
ive recently brought a b16a converted EH9, and its got a yellow rocker cover which i previously thought was just painted byt the owner (am changin colour yes haha) but a mate informed me that apparently there are JDM or jap spec engines that came with the yellow rocker cover? is this true or anyyhting along the lines of that story?

ok will take a few tmz, does look just alike a home job paint a bit but was told this so thought id double check, and do ussually where its stated on the g/box qwot engine it is I.E B16A does it ussually say B16a1 or 2?.. cause mines just b16a.

b16a by itself, is a a jdm motor.

haha yep B16A only ,..

i gots the same engine but its an OBD1 from a 92-95 EG SiRII

yeah apprently this one came from an EG, wots the go on the JDM spec ones? wots diff and better etc about them compared to AU deliverd etc..

remember there are two types of JDM B16A ..

OBD0 - 160HP
OBD1 - 170HP

the AUDM B16A1xxx are about the same or less but the JDM "apparently" has better cams or some shit ... ehehe

there is alot of info about the diff generations of B series engines and their specs ... just search it up and it will tell you champ!

correct just confirmed it too... the ECU mapping is slightly better than the AUDM ones..

thats why i said "apparently" coz i was still in the investigating mode! :p

that valve cover is a respray.

yep ..B16A JDM for sure!!

nice clean engine bay... missing extractors and pod filter :p
