hey guys

i was looking thru stuff that came wiht my car the other nite and found the standard 10 stacker cd changer that came with the car originally. now i have decided to sell it but that isnt why im here.

i need to know a couple of things..

1. wat cars will it plug straight into (standard headunit)?? besides an ek (for example will it fit an eg vti?)

2. i havent actually seen the unit playing so i would like to know wat colour is the power and wat is the earth so i can test it on a 12 volt source if someone could point out which whole on the pic of the loom posted below that would be even better :)

3. does anyone know the model number of this unit (pic below) al i can see is it is a Kenwood 10 stacker compact disc player with a a whole bunch of numbers on the back that when googles bring up nothing....

4. wat is one of these worth from honda?

cheers
Jordan :)

ok i've also got one of these that was in my 98 EK.....it is made by Kenwood and would fit any model honda of the same years 97-2001 with a stacker. There is a cable that connects it to the deck and it also supplies the power to it, but if i remember the unit will have a earth wire with the stacker. I also at the time had a 98 prelude with a stacker and the civic stacker would play burnt CD's so i took the prelude one out and put it into my Civic and it was fine.....from memory a couple years ago the stacker cost about $400 from Honda.....

i ave no idea wat sort of headunit my car originally came with... when i brought it it had an aftermarket JVC unit which the stacker wouldnt connect to... being a honda item.

It should attach to a standard Honda headunit that came in the 97 ek.
