03 civic sedan, D17z1 engine, Are there any companies or individuals out there that make a chip for this Civic? It's to fix a drivability problem, not really for more performance. Thank you....

Hi dissapointed,
Instead of a chip, why don't you consider the Unichip Programmable ECU? It piggy-backs onto your existing ECU and is tuned real-time. Cost is a little pricey at around $1,000 but it does make a difference. My mate has it installed in his Magna VR-X and it has far better response. I am about to make enquiries to have it installed in my 01 Civic GLi. The main distributors for the Unichip is Air Power Systems...their website:

Hope this helps you out :-D
