Aircon not working!!

Hey guys,

i have a honda accord 95 Vti-s model and for some reason my aircon works but the button to turn on the aircon doesnt work....

Usually a light will indicate that the aircon is working...but when i try to turn the aircon on nothing happens....

an example..i was drivin one time...i pressed the button to turn the aircon on...it didnt turn on..but about 10mins later the aircon works...so i turned off the aircon...and tried it again and nothin happens...

Do you guys know what the problem is and how i can fix it?

have u tried turning it on and C if the fan runs ? im just a noob just a guess. but have a look ( like turn ur car on press the aircon button and C if the fan runs. ) if the fan runs it should be fine n it could be like a led or something. just a random guess

when i turn my car on both my fans run....the aircon and the thermo fan...so its not unusual for me....

first i thought it could be the fuse...but that was fine...so im clueless atm...

might need a regas, gas might be low?

but if the gas is low...it wouldnt affect the reason y my aircon wont turn on, would it?

yes.
if there is no gas.
it won't turn on.

i thought it could be the electronics....

nah probably needs a re-gas. I'm having the exact same problem. I've just been having the windows down for a while haha

i have booked my car in to get the aircon regased...hope it will fix the problem
