Does it fit?

I previously purchased a copy red replica H Badges, for Front and Rear.

And on top of the fact they were cheap and faded. The Pins on them didnt line up to the car.

Can someone please confirm if I bought the real deal (OEM Red H badges Front and Rear) - They'd fit without a problem. Including the pins?

Thanks!

As long as they're for the proper car. You would need to buy ITR ones to fit.

Are all the pins the same? For both front and rear?

Maybe you've got it the other way around, you tried putting the rear ones in the front, and the front ones in the rear?

I'd be cautious,
The DC2R badge is bigger than the OEM DC2 badge, hence the pins might be a lil off.
Afaik, the front and rear badges for the teg are the same, so the pins should be the same on both as well.
If an OEM DC2R badge doesn't fit straight onto your DC2/4 - slight modifications to the pins will allow it to sit flush.

haha why such a big deal, sand off the pins using a dremel or similar, takes 10seconds and use heavy duty outdoor double sided tape and it will fit anywhere u like

They will fit.

They arrived. I tried it just then. It's identical size, pins line up. BUT, It wont let me push them in?

Unless the fakes one I had which didn't line up at all. The pins on these line up but it wont let me push them in? Any ideas?

FYI kids, removing the pins on the back, stops the badge from sitting properly. (ie. edges arent flush with the car).

That's the kind of attitude I like to hear.

Anything will fit anywhere if you have enough power tools :D

The chances of actually getting new genuine type r badges cheaper than 100 bucks each is pretty low. and yeah most aftermarket red badges need modifying to fit.

I paid $135 including delivery from Edward from Max honda Power. Better than the $120 each Honda wanted.

hey guys, i know this is kinda off topic but i need some confirmation

gots a dc2 and i was missing my rear badge so i got one from honda
the pins on the back have this white plastic thing on it... is that ment to be there or are u ment to take it off? cuz... it will not fit the tiny holes in the back as it is.

is it like rubber ? and fits over the 2 posts ? These are supposed to go into the holes and act as a sleeve for the posts to sit into

but i don't think i can physically fit them into the holes?
are the holes in the back ment to look like the holes in the front?
cuz my holes in the back are different.. instead of being just holes they have sort've like a head sticking out with a hole in the middle? like a round head screw but hollow...

am i making any sense? cuz i don't even understand myself lol! if no one knows wtf i'm on about i'll take a pic tomorrow.

The head with the hole is most likely the rubber rings from ur original badge still in the hole.
That would explain why the new ones won't fit in.
You could pull them out with pointy nose pliers to confirm!! :D

my dc2r got badged recently as well... honda quoted me $94 each. I ended up getting copies from ebay, but its just not the same... the colour is a bit off and the pins don't line up... just feels so cheap.... cost me $27 incl postage... nothing compares to the genuine product and everyday i'm looking at the badge, wishing it was genuine :(
