CV joints

One of my CV joints went yesterday arvo so i called RACQ and they said to get the car towed, so i did and its now sitting at my mechanics shop. Im just wondering how much a new CV will be plus labour?

was about $450 for a pair(new oens) when i got them done on my old civic. I personally wouldn't get recons unless I was going to be selling the car real soon.
