92 EG GL sedan is an EG8..
depends on the model really..

my assumption is that GLi/GL is EG8, Si/VTi is EH9

i think all EH's are EG sedans... i know an EG sedan SI is an EH9...

someone with more knowledge could confirm this?

i've got a sedan. and it is a eg8.
i think eh's were the ealier models, (92-93)
and the eg's were the later ones (94-95)

I believe EH is for EG sedan SI and VTI only.

All eg hatches are EG, and eg gl/gli sedans are also EG.

except JDM EG sedan which is eg9 :p

Numerical designations are not limited to ONE country or model.

Anyway , the question is answered :)

EH% , in AUDM was for either Si or Vti sedans.

Guys it's pretty obvious even from what you have all been saying, ur just beating around the bush.

EG is the 92-95 HATCH and the EH is the sedan version.
This is regardless of whether it's a vti, SiR, breeze, etc!

No.. What about a ferio. a 4dr sedan with a b16. thats EG9!!

Notice the DOHC sticker on the door and the garnish on the rear passanger window which reads "ferio"

ALSO, others have stated that their gl/gli sedans have EG8

i think wat we can all agree that EARLY model sedans are badged "EG" and the later model (93,94) sedans are EH's...
i have a 94 VTi sedan and that is EH9.

i thort performance wise it was pretty good... quite fast, yet relaible and fuel efficiantm then again that depends how it has been treated. it doesnt unfortunatly sound like a b16 lol, even with CAI and a pod, you cannot really hear the crossover point unless u know when it does happen. but i rated it, i jus wanted the upgrade so i went for a b18 :p

Dont pay more than 6k for it. Too many sellers are dreaming.

Both i and Kazam spent <6k for vti's with LESS than 100,000 kms and log books, mine i got more than 2 yrs ago

Nah :p

I got a 94 VTi - EH9
and a 95 GLi - EG8,

Only the si and the vti sedans have the eh code, all other sedans, GL, GLi, VEi and SiR (maybe more) are EG's

From The Redbook (http://www.redbookasiapacific.com/au/vehicle/index.php?make=HOND&family=PSCIVIC) website, 1991-1995 sedans:

EG = GL, GLI, VEI
EH = SI, VTi
