ok um i think its a common problem in the DC2 for the headlights to get blurry?
question is how do you "buff " that out and make the headlights nice and shiny agian

Use a cutting compound/liquid then a Super Resin Polish, the dullness hopefully should only be on the outside. If its on the inside its time to open them up, which is a very time consuming task. I did it to mine just on the outside and they turned out quite well.
Recommended Products:
- Meguires Fine-Cut (Approx. $20)
- AutoGlym Super Resin Polish (100ml) (Approx. $15)
- Applicator Pad & Terry Cloth Towel (Approx. $5)
Your looking at approximately $40 to do the whole project. Its better if you can go halves with a mate or use products that you may already have laying around.

Good post Spoony. Yes use cutting products as mentioned....mine are nice and clear after the last couple of polishes lol...

A friend got degreaser on his and now they are discoloured (brown). So just a tip to keep any solvent well away from plastics (expessially if they are transparent).

FYI toyata sell a product specifically for cleaning the plastic on headlights
