Can a DC5R Airbox be modified to fit a pod inside?

Hey guys might be a noob ass question but can a dc5r stock box be modified to fit a K&N pod air filter inside? or it won't work... ?

i would recommend saving some more dosh and either getting a k&n typhoon intake or saving more and getting Injen Cold air intake. However, it will work. How well? That is debatable...

Everything on the car design for a purpose.....you can cut all the bits out from it and mod and fit a pod filter in it but it doesn't mean you will get the max airflow.....CAI is the way to go.....
