hey ive got a EK coupe and the material of the headlight is plastic..
My friends EG has one headlight plastic and the other Glass.
The headlight with glass, the beam looks nice.. in comparison with plastic not too good.

I was wondering if anyone has put HID Kits on their EK's and if it turns out nice with a straight beam of light?

To get full benefits from a HID's you need to do a retro-fit conversion, which is basically using proper HID projectors instead of the standard halogen reflectors. It's better for you and better for other people on the road.

www.hidplanet.net for a whole heap of info.

Howare the headlights fairing on your coupe? Are they fogged up and yellow? I had that issue with my car, did a DIY and cleaned it really nicely. They came up almost brand new

Are you both using the same or similar light bulbs? If you're using a standard pair of bulbs compared to someone who's using some Crystal vision, or blue vision or Mtec's bulbs then obviously your headlights will look dull compared to theirs.

lol i dont have high beams. just cuts off when i high beam. so i can't prove that it aint my high beam. so i just flash my foglights haha..

and i still need to aim mine higher.. imagine how many high beams il get then.

lays.. it depends.. it kenny btw..

the EG has glass, which has the foggy stripes in it. makes it glare more

whilst the EK has clear plastic. the beam looks more clear and not over the place.

as said above - any car that isnt HID stock and you fit HID globes , you will get more dispersed light and annoy oncoming traffic.

Get the proper headlight/reflector to suit your car :)

BTW has anyone got info on such a kit for EG civics ?
