Dont buy a new one now its just stupid.. Makes no sense at all The new model will likely come out soon.

if you really want one just buy a used one

2008-2009 would be ideal for me as thats when my warranty expires and I'll be looking to replacing my current Euro

Yeah would be nice but not enough demand for it in Aust.i think.

it has been said that Honda Australia are no longer bringing in any Acura models and rebadged as Honda, as Acura is slated to enter Australia in 2010 if Honda could push sales up.

I have a feeling that only applies to cars that are only being badged as Acura worldwide (such as the upcoming NSX - it won't be sold as a Honda anywhere).

The Euro is sold in Japan, Europe and Australia as a Honda. They're only rebadged as an Acura in the states because the vehicle is more suited to the Acura buyer demographic (whereas Honda is marketed as a more mainstream brand with conventional - read bland - product).

So I'm sure we'll see the Euro replacement down under, sold as a Honda.

Yupe I know. I was thinking when Honda Aust decides to market 2 Accord versions here it would take a great risk doing it...however the Euro is more popular than the dull Accord. I was just thinking if they might able to market the 3rd Accord here...yeah there's no enough demand...but if it might be sold as a low volume with $50k or more price tag...well we just don't know what will happen...but to think of it again you may be right...just my thought :)

That look like a current Euro morphed with a Aston V8 Vantage.
