shifter and cables, that should be it. You'll have to make a hybrid harness for your car. I'm putting one in an EG atm.

One of the traders on this forum i saw is selling them,

JDMYARD or sumphin,

have a look see

Let me know how it goes if u decide to go ahead with it,

ppl tell me the h22 in a ek ruins the steering and makes teh car quite "front" heavy,

personally id put it in a 4 door sedan civic :) least then its got purpose, hehe carrying all those ppl around

playing with cars isn't cheap full stop.

with the harness, yes you'll have to chop and change the harness to fit. Will be quite hard to find the harness needed to modify for an ek.

If you do it you will throw out the cars geometry. It will still drive well but the extra weight in the front will make turning a little harder. Straightline is fine.
Check with the pits first to see the legal ramifications of going from 1600cc to 2200cc. I have a feeling you will be fine anyways as they have recently altered thier engine change laws.

I used HCP Engineering mounts from the states. Don't know if they do a set for an EK though?

You forgot about your brakes dude.

We discussed this b4 , I can get nearly everything you needed.

As barefootbanzai said : playing with cars aint cheap , just do it step by step unless if you got stacks of spare cash , then you can blow it all in 1 go

H2B Kit = A kit to allow you to use a B series gearbox on the H series motor.

thats intresting, but i would of fort that if u were going to swap the motor u would swap the gbox as well,

are there issues in running/fitting the box in a civic?

yea seeings a Ek comes with a d16 motor unless its a EK4 or EK9 (correct me if im wrong) assuming he has ek1 i thought u would change the GB too...

What the hell?
Why would you change the gear box? Get a mount set from JDM yard. Hasport mounts are designed to bolt the h22a with box into the EK. And heavy front???? let say 50 kg. Change your bonet to fiberglass or CF, change your battery to light weight, loose the air con, there're 25 k+ already. And for the wiring HAsport also sold harness conversion so u can order that through JDM yard im sure. Im doing this atm but it is hard to find a good half cut (well for me anyway). Talk to some one that done this or a tune shop dont listen to e-machanics. hope that help
