Lets keep it strictly objective experiances thanks :)

However, I had my cat back done, and within 12 months had 2 of my resonators collapse and need replacing (which they did at no extra charge). And now the first resonator that was replaces is also making a noise :|

i have one of their b-series headers for sale if you want it... ;) i have no idea of what gains -if any- are to be had from it.

aside from that, been there to get three separate exhausts, none of them had any trouble and the welds were much, much better than what i had done by tuffy. in all, i've been there around eight times for various jobs, always been looked after well and i'll keep using them.

i got quoted $350 for hurricane headers for my old vtir. their product quality is shit house, but their service is good.

Man Liverpool exhaust has bad workmanship

I didn't even get a flange connection.
Didn't get the muffler bolted on properly

I suggest Fussy's motorsport, they are very diligent with their work.
And they don't bargain.

I've heard good and bad things about Liverpool. I think if you get them on a bad day you might get workmanship slightly below their average. Alot of people however have been quite happy with their quality and pricing.

I've also heard good things about Fussy's. The "they don't bargain" bit isn't quite true in my experience. I rang up for a 2.25" mandrel bent catback in mild steel quote (BYO muffler), was quoted $340 first off, then $300 when I rang back with a "price match" from Livo, then down to $280ish the last time. Pays to "shop around". :)

Fussy's - 9760058. I believe the boss's name is Tan.

They're in Lansvale?

thanks guys
one other question....
i went to a performance place today and they told me that a high flow cat wouldnt do very much coz the honda cat would be sufficient...
is this true ??? should i just get headers and not waste my money on a cat ??

Hondas have good components to start with, especially with their sports cars.

True. Although according to your avatar (and my rather hazy memory) you drive an LS, and on a car of that age, the stock cat might be on it's last legs. If you're going to pay for labour to fit a catback, you might want to refit a new (high flow/better flowing) cat at the same time. Contact fueltank on these forums for good cat prices. :)

No point upgrading the rest of your exhaust system to larger piping if your cat convertor is a smaller diameter, hence a restriction.
