Hello to all, just wondering if any one here has a twin loop muffler? I've ran a search and they've stated that they actually have better performance but less sound?....the reason is because I'm sick and tired of that farty drone on my mercury muff... and I haven't seen many cars with them? There is one on the "glorious..not" eBay by N power for bout for bout 90bux oz.. would it be worth/reliable buying from them or not? Know any other places? cheers
appreciate any sorta feed back, thank you very much and have a kick ass week. Alex

Twin loop runs the pipe through the same muffler twice which makes it nice and quiet. The quality of the sound/tone will differ between say X-Force and Mugen but you get what you pay for. A few guys here have both types so hopefully they speak up.

ive got a xforce s12 honeslty.. the sound is nice but i reckon doesnt give u any better perfomrance... and its prety quiet unless ur up on the high revs.. can get abit loud.

twin loop gives u a good take off, responsive in low revs but in higher revs it wont produce much top end power. its only good for normal driving, if u want power in all (low, mid, high range) go for an oval muffler with a max tip of 3inch tip (not inlet) canon muffler good in high revs and top end but not responsive in low revs and take off

Personally I think you should consider the Spoon Street Silencer coz I've got one for the same reason and I love it.

wow, thanks for the super quick replies... have been helpful. I'm still contemplating... Have actually had a cannon on my car before so not really too keen on that, the deafening sound really outweighed the performance. So leaning..i meant bent over towards twin loop. Top end power is pretty crumby on my car anyway.. even with i/h/e on the d15b7 ..yes yes.. is still shite. (EG8 sedan 95) but not as shite as my sisters auto civic.
*still can't get over the quickness of replies..good stuff, seriously

win some lose some i say.
twin loop more quiet but maybe less response in top end..
loud lose bottom end gain top end?
in the end its up to driver comfort with sound.. you'll get sick of both loud and quiet.
i had a quiet exhaust (hitech) on my car i loved it to start with then got sick of it.
now got BC spec 3 loud as and i love it..
haha! but love the sound of the spoon street muffler.
