If I bought an integra vti-r with the B18C or bought an integra gsi with the B18B and like, i wanted to convert to vtec or the engine was just old. so i decided to change the whole motor.
would i need to do anythign else but change the motor? eg:telling the RTA, gettin engineer cert.,Changing the Vin badge.etcetc??

only have to tell the RTA of the new engine number
they all 1.8L motors...
u will need a new ECU if u decide to swap the b18b motor for b18c or a vtec head

don't think so since you're not changing to a higher displacement engine. Unless you need brake upgrades which I don't think you will shouldn't require an eng. cert.

as above.. blue slip, then to RTA u go ..
get a new motor.. pm me if u want to sell me your old motor ;) eheh

and im just still deciding to get a gsi or a vti-r.. cos gsi is cheaper.. nd if ima go all out. i dont really need a vti-r..eesh..

VTiR has better options. Tacho says different redline, better trim level in some cases, there are many differences that set the vehicles apart. Better suspensions.
Its easier to start with a VTiR than swapping in a B18c for only a handful of kilowatts. The money u spend on the B18A to B18C swap you could spend on an already 180hp VTiR and get an even higher output.
