Civic Identification

my uncle has a civic sedan v tec n all :D
but i never really knew what make it was
it only says civic on the back
the front bar sortta looks like the front bar of an eg hatch i think
the door handles look like back wards Ds
ive always thought it was an em1
wut do u guys think?:confused:

front lights shape EG or EK ?

might be a EJ8.
SOHC coupe , like the EM1's with a SOHC VTEC motor.

Door handles look like a backward D, doesn't really ring a bell.
D shaped then i'd say EG, but backwards?

does it say vtec on the cover?
cause i know single cam vtec, has a HONDA sign then under it vtec or other way around,

look at the rego paper and tell us what the VIN/CHASSIS number is. thatll tell u what it is.. like JHMEK4XXXXXXXXXX = EK4

also look at the stamp thats on the actual engine found on the block at the front of the engine.

snds like my eg gli sedan, but with a b16 conversion lol

mines only got the 1.5 FI motor, crappy, has a little sound and response in about 5k-6k rpm, very good handeler tho, tighter turning than my dc2

it's an eg sedan.

if it has vtec, it's either vti (1600 sohc vtec) or vei (1500 sohc vtec).
unless he swapped the engine :p
