i no type R's dont, so vti-r's dont either ay, damn, im after an auto (dont hassle me with questions how come), but yeah im after an integra, and vti-r's just got so much nicer cloth n seat design on the material, as aposed to the plain grey variety of the Gsi

damn, looks like a Gsi for me then...question: do you think the interior looks a bit dated, i mean the first design for those model was like 93'...tryin to get the best car under 20 g's....at the moment my hitlist is

1. 98-00 Integra Gsi (black)
2. 99> EK civic sedan (charcol grey)
3. 99> Mazda Protege SP20 sedan (black)
4. 98-01 Prelude (silver)...thou there discontinued, im not so sure about buying one, aparantly if the tiptronic goes, its dear azz to fix.

any comments or views on whut to get.

I don't think the later version of the GSi is out dated but with the Prelude, which model are you looking at? Si/VTi-R?

thought you can get the latest model prelude vti-r in auto
i'm sure you can..??
and those tiptronic are not that easy to brake unless you go turbo...

and you can get a SP20 for less than $20k!!?

decisions, decisions..

the prelude i had in mind was just the latest generation one, prob the base model, but i dont no, its discontinued and it has a kinda long nose on it (i prefer the look of an integra)..

but i dont no, i change my mind like 10 times a day...do i go sporty coupe and forget about interior and practicality, or do i go the sp20, alot newer model available, nice interior (sorta) but then on the other hand its a 4 door & it aint a honda, 4 doors just portre' a family car, coupes just more sporty all round.

help me peepz, whut would u do

i was also looking a getting a new sp20 before i got my auto dc5
but for some reason, i just thought i wanted to spend an extra $15k just to get the new dc5

i guess it's really up to you...the sp20 still isn't a bad car...it handles quite nicely, i'd say it probably is on par with a dc2 GSi even

alot of people say the integra isn't practical..but i think it's very much so if you're either living on your own or with another person (eg, your gf)
enuf boot space for groceries and other things...it ain't too small compared to other 2L sport cars

i'd honestly say if you can find a SP20 for under $20k then i'd go that

had a look at a 98 Gsi auto, black, low k's (between 55-77 or something like that)....but they wanted $21,400 (qld) for it, i think thats a bit rich for a 98 gsi dont u think?...or else in sydney theres a 96 black auto gsi w/sunroof i might add...for 14990, 77'000kms, but is 96 to old, how old is old, i was thinking to try and get something 98 onwards, cause like a 1995 model is just about 10 yrs old just about...

I've got a VTi-R front cut with an auto gearbox on it. It's imported though, and technically it's called a "Si [acronym:eac4039042="Valve Timing and lift Electronic Control"]VTEC[/acronym:eac4039042]" not a "VTi-R".

I'm chasing a manual gearbox for it, if you want an auto I'm keen to swap :)
The auto box only has 55,000kms on it, and I can give you everything for it (linkages, ecu etc)
PM me if you're interested.

erm if i may suggest...why not learn to drive a manual then get a vtir. 99 models go for less than 20k
