my srs indictor won't turn off
i went car shopping, and left my girlfriend in the car, and she left the reds on and drained the battery. then when i clutch started it the srs light came on and stayed on.
any ideas?

srs unit?? in for the big dollars if that the case.

bring to Honda dealer asap they'll let you know in full detail.

i would say it would just be a phantom code. It happens a bit with jump starting cars that are dead flat. just get it cleared.

u just need the memory erased from the SRS unit,its prob thrown a loss of power supply fault when u clutched it.

take to a honda dealer & ask them to reset it for u.

find the yellow SCS connetor and you can reset the SRS ECU your self,

i tried the reset and failed. i have yellow plugs with grey wiring, and i tried doing it to all the plugs that went along the line. still nothing.

take it to a dealer, get em to do a quick check with the hds.
they'll see what codes come up, clear them and send you on your way. if the srs light comes on again get it looked at and if it's the same code coming up you know you certainly have a problem with the relevant part.

the most common srs parts to die are probably seatbelt stalks and control units
