Just wondering.. to take out the carpet out of my 95 DC2 vtir does the dash need to be taken out aswell or can it be taken out without taking out the dash? :)

dash sould most deffinaltly not need to be removed!

im not 100% about that i was lookin into changing mine a while back and if u look behind the dash on the floor the carpet extends behind where the headunit goes etc..i could be wrong

also any1 kno of good places in syd/aus to order pre shaped carpet

Dash doesn't need to be removed. Only part of the lower center console where the radio is has to be removed.

i did a bit of researching and found that:

dc2 carpet can be purchased from knox auto carpet in melbourne.. i think its between 150 for normal and 180 for extra cushiony carpet...

the carpet will have no holes so it needs to be cut but makein sure ppl measure twice and cut once .. it wont be to hard..

i plan to be doing this very soon
