Well if its not there, I doubt it'll work :p

But you won't gain much from moving the engagement point around anyway, if its in Jap, look for Fit or GD3 :)

I don't think you can play around with the vtec engagement point in the Jazz. The L series engine is a bit different anyway. FYI, it kicks in at 2500 to 3500rpm, so there wouldn't be any point changing it, ya?

You can definitely lower the VTEC engagement point on the Jazz's and the factory VTEC setting is a lot higher than 2500-3500. I am unsure about the Buddyclub V-CON, but HONDATA has one.

This vtec setting has already been proven. Not just by Honda Jazz enthusiasts, but it was also quoted by Honda.

Honda says the rocker arms are engaged between 2300rpm and 3600rpm, although some members have proven it to be at 2800 precisely. I beleive this is dependant on driving style and the ECU programming. Dont quote me on the driving style, but it seems logical.

Jazz engine is built for economy. It doesn't make sense to push the vtec engagment point down any further.

Seems to me we're going in circles about when VTEC engages.
I suggest building a simple VTEC on/off light device would be fun.

Have a look at this link ...

The VAFC2 shows when VTEC engages (light goes from green to red). It is constant and factory changeover is at 2800rpm - it doesn't change depending on driving style.

Simply lowering VTEC changeover does nothing for performance gains. You need to run the car up on the dyno to find ideal changeover point, but even then you would only need to do it if the car is modded. FYI my car is modded and the changeover point is still the factory point.
