Need your opinion guys

Hey ppl, what are our thoughts about engine transplants, is it worth it? I'm considering to spend about $10k on my eg civic, ~$5k for transplant to b16a2, and the rest on a manual conversion, suspension upgrades, etc. The thing is though ek vti-rs go for about $12k so i'm considering upgrading or selling and buying a vti-r, so what do you guys think do the upgrades or get a vtir?

If i were u i'd sell the eg, get vtir. Manual conversion can be so darn expensive.
Check the car for sale section, there's vtir for sale in Perth though.

Unless you really like the EG shape then go with the VTi-R, no need for conversion and newer lol, if you stayed with the EG, I think you'll be able to buy an EG that has already got B16A conversion and a ton of other goodies on it :)

wat ur gonna do a auto b16a conversion then later on do manual conversion??

ifs dats the case dats just doubling up .. lol

get ur self a manual b16a front cut and ur set ...

dont forget u need to change the drivers side bracket for the engine mount dat is tact welded to the chasis rail ... auto and manul is diff


or just get a ek4 ... u get better interior and pretty much everything else without the hassles of conversions

yeh unless u really like the eg shape, i would sell it and buy an ek4
even then i would still sell it and buy a eg with the engine conversion and all the mods done to it
less hassle plus newer car

I would sell and find yourself an eg with b18c conversion, not b16a EK.
