I need a new headlight/parker for my LXI Accord. I've been told that because it's an import (LXI was a NewZealand thing), I have to get a set imported (ie expensive).

This doesn't make sense to me as I assume the EXI/Etc models would use the same headlight, or, at least the same fittings. The lights don't have to match, as long as they work!

Anyone know anything about this?

I've been looking at some pics, and it seems the non V-something models have the clear plastic I have, while the EX-something models are cloudy

the clear one are normally from Japan or US, they come in black housing or chrome housing...the black comes from SiR and the chrome i think comes from Ex (US model) dunno

OZ accord comes with the cloudy one...but you can stil source the clear one from wreckers for around 200ish

I've got the Chrome version. Black Version? That sounds awesome!

I've been quoted $195 per light in Chrome in Aust, but I'm contacting NZ wreckers to get a cheaper pricing. Black sounds a lot more funky though, do you know of anywhere that sells them?

ebay, or you can just get the clear lense one and spray the housing yourself
