changing my muffler 3 days ago from a cannon to a twinloop the crossover on the twinloop doesnt buzz anymore like the cannon. considering i like the buzz instead of the roar. is there anyway to bring the buzz back on the twin loop?

thanks.

lol he doesnt have a buzz no more he wants it back..

theres no way of gettin it back by modifying your twinloop unless u swap it back for a cannon..

OMG.
albert..

ok peeps, its not the fricken buzz his talkn about
his talking about the VTEC crossing over! when he had the cannon muffler on
and a pod installed he could LOUDLY hear the vtec kicking over,
but since the installation of the twinloop he has lost it, so his question is how can he get the vtec crossover sound back.

You want to sound like a bee or a a tiger?
hahah
but honestly, doesnt the twinloop give a better output?

You want the Buzz sound, fair enough. He has said buzz, so I am responding to that.

But you shoulda thought about that before you got the Twin Loop.

The Twin Loop itself effectively passes the exhaust through the muffler 'Twice'. Hence your going to 'muffle' the sound twice as much and loose your Buzz.

i was thinking it might not be the twinloop muffler restricting the engaging vtec sound, i have heard plenty of cars that have twinloops and vtecing it hard.

it might be the resonator that he put in, at the time of changing the muffler,
he changed from cat back ; new piping new resonator and muffler.
this could be the problem

there may be other ways to get that sound but the only reason he's lost that quality in his sounds is cause he's changed muffler.

If you want the sound back change back to the previous muffler.

no i dont, in the car it sounds like piss weak baby vtec,
but from outside you can just tell it changed if you know what i mean.

Then you need to alter your intake, that's the sound really worth hearing.

my cai(all the way to behind the front bumper) and my old mugen twinloop catback with hi-flow cat and stock ausdm dc2r headers made a loud roar, definately noticable
at about 5000rpm with the window down it became pretty unbareable then while in the vtec range it was just all motor sound

still have my cai but stock catback now, vtec's still pretty loud :)

yea your best bet would be to buy or DIY CAI, that way theres direct air flow straight to ur air filter. youll also be probably getting that whistling noise like a turbo winding up. lol =).

Intake is the shiz fo vT@k y0 soundizzle!!
The noise emitted from the intake is the preferable source of a honda's much loved VTEC sound. The exhaust note will change too, but its much less noticable, so the quieter and toned the exhaust, the nicer the noise.

Good to see that most honda owners locally understand this concept, and as i speak (how funny!!!) i can hear a B16a roar up my terrace. All i can hear is intake, and its the ****!!! No fitting 3aRacing autobarn mufflers, as this will give u the ricer lancer sound.
