what size bulbs do the Ek4 headlights use ? 96-98 model, im looking to buy HID's.

ahkz thanks, is that for low beam ? and also atm when i turn my high beams on, my low beams turn off, is it possible to have it both on without any problems ? i want to have my low beams as HID and normal high beams and when i turb high beam on the low beam stay on. pls advise on anything to do with this topic, thanks

H4 is Hi/Low beam together.

so you cant have HID low beam and Normal H4 high beam because it is ONE bulb.

some cheap HID will only be Low beam ONLY. so you wont have high beam anymore. other HID have both Lo/Hi beam at additional cost. and it uses a relay to switch between the both.

both will be HID but wont be lit up at the same time.

um u can hold the hi beam rod jus till its on without fully switching to hi beam.

if you tinker with your headlight wiring you can set it so that highbeam = both filaments inside the bulb are glowing but i'm not going to tell you how (bcoz i'm lazy)

oh ok, thats ok, because i thought it was 2 different bulbs and cos when im driving say in mountains, i turn high beam on and i can seefurther buti can see less thats infront of me because low beam has been turned off, anyway thanks for the input guys, ill look into it and work out someway to have it both on at the same time.
