Dont know about making the stock seats lower but you could possibly try bucket seats?

ye i know i can buckets with super low seat rails but i dont really want a performance feel, i want a luxury cruiser feel thats my problem because the prelude seats are already comfortable, and this one has a full retrim so that would be my last resort

I'm relativly tall, and don't really have a problem wiht headroom, unless I've got my hair spiked up :P

It's not too hard to get DC2R or DC5R Recaros in legally, but they're not really an option if you've got a big arse. (like me, hehe)

its not headroom or even legroom i just want the standard seat lowered so my left thigh doesnt rub steering wheel

i know you can get a vision seat rails for a DC2R that lower the seat around 1 inch (cos i have one and its farking awesome!).. you can probably get the same for a prelude.. ask jdmyard.com...

cost was around 200, something like that.. maybe 150.. i cant remember it was ages ago..

why dont you buy a flat bottomed steering wheel? they usually help avoid the contact with the legs. i have a mate whose 6'4 and he bought a slightly smaller flat bottomed steering wheel and it did the trick. save you a lot over new seat rails.

^^ good point..

could fit a jdm s2k steering wheel if u can find one.. they got flat bottoms, not sure bout the diametre of the steering wheel but id assume its smaller than the 5th gens..

if i were you i will be getting a low rail for the bucket seat. and mount it on the standard seats. by some way of modification.. i think its not that hard.. just need to weld few spots and re drill to the seat anchor. :)

Lower ur back rest. might give you some help :p

hard isnt it to be tall ? LOL !!! i once sit on prelude.. on passenger my head would hit the roof on the bumps if i didnt lower the back rest. :p

I have had customers with the same issue on some hindas , the low seat rail will be your only option. if you find a good motor trimmer it will be easy for them to do ,,,, shouldnt cost too much
