View Full Version : Sports Chrome on DC2
I have my set of BC P1's on 15s as my track/twisties rims.
Although, owning a black dc2 I want a bit of bling for my daily driver. I wouldn't mind a set of THESE (http://ozzytyres.com.au/page.php?load=wheels_more&WheelType=Tuner&mag_images_id=210&mag_id=141) in 17's.

Anyone got a pic of a DC2 with tasteful, semi-sports bling? Here's an example of over the top bling: http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=61171&highlight=integra <- I love the car, and looks good, BUT a bit *too* much bling for me. I wouldn't mind something similar, but less fat chrome bling. lol

Well.. mine's not quite 'bling', but it's not the ussual JDM style.
Click for link to my car. (http://www.boostcruising.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=200920)
My DC2's also black. ;)
off topic: aren't they a bummer to keep clean?!

LOL @ Tony. Ozzy used to have a set of Work Mesh rims 18's though which were very nice, but they were probably different stud pattern so not sure if they could be re-drilled.
Check out Australia's best site and see if they have anything as well.
That looks good Spunkymonkey, not the exact rims I was looking at though, very similar.
This is the one I had my eye on, slightly more deep dish than yours. My Cars a bit lower too. Should look good.

Hi Moya,
I think they will look alright. It would be good if you could photo chop them on to a photo of your car and then you can tell.
That photo isn't the most flattering one I have of the car. I do agree with Felix, basically it all comes down to personal preference. I've always loved mesh rims, but not to say I don't like jdm style ones either....gold studs ftw. My car was dumped a few weeks ago, but raised to more driveable height...its a little lower than in these pics at the back.
I mean the stock blades look gross on my car because it doesn't match the kit.
Here's a better pic.
P.S Chunky Mesh rims are just a style of rim, like mine. The style with lots of spokes lol...
