Price on JDM k20a type-r DC5 conversion red top

Hi guys

yes i have done a search on here, but there isnt much info or very old info about this topic.

I would like to know whats the going price or what people are paying or the cost of a JDM k20a dc5 type r red top 220ps engine conversion, loom, ecu, gearbox is going for already here in OZ, not ones that are on ebay or have to order from someone that u dont even know if ur even going to show up at ur door etc etc...?

I know b18cr's are going for around 6-7k so i would think k20a would be much more? Anyone bought one lately or doing conversion care to share cost of 1. I want to get one and just find out going price on them

K20a motors are around that price aswell, just bits and pieces needed for the car (EG, EK, etc) cost heaps and then u got labour aswell so lets say at least 15Gs for a proper job.

JDM k20a running gear around 8-10k.

yes for the AUS K20A2 you're lookin at around 6-7K. But for JDM K20A, expect to pay more somwer in range of 8-10K as fatboyz39 mentioned. Thats for the running gear alone.

its the truth tho.

best bet is to ask some of the traders on the forum.... then ask how much it'll cost for all the other parts needed. there is ALOT more then just getting the engine.

lol thanks guys, cant afford one?? Pfft...comeon man, its only a freakin honda integra engine man ha ha, and ive bought one already thanks, by the time landed here yes looking at 8--10k, and ive already got ordered everything from hybrid racing needed to stuff the engine in. which is about another 3-4k USD plus shipping over here. best good bang for your buck for N/A i reckon jdm k20a.

ermm i just bought one champ, i was asking around to get an idea of what they are worth, asking gurus on here on what they worth before i bought one
