just dont listen ur system with the engine off .......

even if you change with good Battery, it only to make the battery flat a lil bit longer, unless if you are thinking of changing with a bigger alternator too

As Laski stated above, a good quality deep cycle battery will give you a lot more time for listening to the system but it too will eventually go flat.

The best thing to do (and indeed what I would suggest) is get yourself a quality deep cycle battery (such as a Stinger SPV35) and just run the car every so often when listening to it whilst stationary.

Hey Marty are the Optima D51 still available i thought they had stopped production please pm if still available.

No you're quite right civic_racer. Optima had some issues previously with the D51 so they discontinued the production. In the mean time, we've been enjoying tremendous success with the Stinger SPV35 (which was designed specifically for Hondas).
