the globe burnt out i think
i use to smack the dash and it would light up... now it doesnt no matter what
i read the civic manual and it just says pry it out
but i wanna see where the clip is so i dont scratch my whole dash and figure the clip was at the bottom or something haha

no screw holding the switch, only a clip
get the switch off with a feeler gauge. i find this is easiest

so you just stab the feeler guage into any of the sides?
are you using the bent at the end type to then level it out or just the straight feeler guage?
i'll buy one this arvo

its a bit wierd, but all you have to do is get something strong and thin, and pretty much have to jam it into the sides, taking care obviously, i usually do the side closest to the glove box, on my car there is a slight gap near top or bottom, then just pry it out. if it helps once you get something in, slide up and down a little and jimmy it a bit. in the end though you will have to get something in there.
