We took our b20/vtec CRX for our first/last run with this new motor to see what times can it pull. This motor will be deeply missed:(:(.

Best run 13.6 @ 104 MPH 2.3 60ft Traction problem all night due to using wrong front hubs :angel::angel:

yepp this EF crx is one crazy ass car.... congrats on the MPH Jimmy....


also i pulled 1st run 13.3@104mph (with a 2000rpm launch)
2nd run 14.1 missing 2nd...
3rd run 13.5 missing 2nd again....
4th run 13.1 and a massive bog in the launch...


anyways will be out next week to break the 12s..

Congratz on ur time boyz. I was there watching both these cars. Traction was a massive player in these boys not hitting better times.

Your last run hassan u would of gotta 12.....sec if that launch wasn't so F***** up. LOL But that k24a pulls hard :).

Jimmy the car pulled just as hard as hassan. A few things didn't go your way tonight mate. Its part of the game and the time you got didn't reflect what this pocketrocket could do. Hopefully the new owner can take her down and pull some meantime :).

I had a great time hanging out and just talking about cars with you boyz. We will do it more often indeed :thumbsup: .

You've just got to chase the 60' times you got in the DC2, then you'll see 12's in this car.

Well from what i was just told the engine is going to a new home now and V1.5 is about to get built for the rolling CRX shell.The mph shows how good AUSSIE built basic B20's can be.Well done Hassan 12's just around the corner in the K24 CRX seems you had a couple of good driving coach's last night.

No comment :zip:, all I know is that DD is so pumped about the new deal with himself working with Buddyclub here in Australia its not funny and said that was the reason behind the 104mph and that he did not even tune the setup after installing some Buddyclub 3+ cams to test in there Basic B20Vtec engine.

Joe's wife drove the car last night for her first ever runs down the strip. Did 3 runs with a best of 14.2.

She had a ball and will definitely be having another steer in the future. She was a little apprehensive at first. Its a bit daunting getting out there for the first time but after the first run felt a little more comfortable. With a few more runs under her belt I'm sure she would be able to better her time.

Great work boys, yes get those hubs changed.. with the 60foot you should be running the car will be into the low 13's

Joe just downloaded the data logs from his wife's runs last night. Most of the time she was at 50% throttle opening with the maximum being 78%. At no time did she use full throttle. 14.2 with 50% average throttle. :D

As DD keeps telling you PRACTICE makes perfect drag racing a FWD hi powered car on street type tires,it was still a great effort from you and 12's will come very soon for you.

V2 Engine and into a EG I think for Compak Attack for the team to see if we can lower the 60' times and pickup some MPH with the new cams and I want to run the Buddyclub B series header and I will tune this one.

Benson you need to start cutting your floor and doors so you can get the EG weight down similar to the CRX :p

Don't need to touch the floor. Cut out the intrusion bars and get rid of the accessories on the motor like A/C, alternator, P/S etc. Go to a smaller radiator. That will save a heap of weight right there.

The reason behind the whole project is to show customer's the difference in the levels of engine's we are doing with the B20Vtec's and the reason we want to run a heavier car to show the torque they make,and its just a way for us to have some fun racing.Once we have time Online will be doing the rollcage in a very light weight ED hatch shell so we can be more competive in ALLMTR to run alongside the Online CRX and G&J Racings K powered Civic.

Dave, what times are you expecting to run at Compak Attak with the current B20 setup?
If we can go a bit quicker than the 13.6 the CRX did I will be happy I am looking more for MPH increase with this V2 B20 setup it will have more comp and Spec IV Buddyclub cams with a better set valve springs and retainers this time.

Im am pretty sure the V2 B20 will be quicker than V1. There were more in it for V1 but due to fuel pump issues, the full potential of the car wasnt achieved.
