ok this sounds silly but im having problems putting my coilovers in my lower control arms. both parts in are confirmed, the coilovers are a dc2r part and the LCA is from an eg6. i tried forcing it , but it wont go in. now i dont know wtf is wrong here but the coilovers bottom end bit is slightly wider then the inside of the control arms. what can be done? has anyone ever experienced this problem?
mods if this thread is too noobic then remove it to another section if u feel so.

I had a similar problem like this a few years back when I had my JDM Coilovers being a few mms wider for the LCA.
DIY and shave a few mm's from each side to make it fit.

yep, it's quite common it's happened for me heaps of times. angle grinder FTW!

you should remove the metal bush and remove a few mm in a lathe, that way the surfaces are perfect 90 degrees and flat, less likely to cause issues compared to an angle grinder, I did this with my LCA's and shock sleeves for the rubber top mounts.
