Euro Dash Serial Numbers perhaps ? Intresting!

Hi Guys,

This morning I took a good look at my head up display ( instrument panel)

I noticed that there were a set of number a letters just under the spedo needle.

I am sure this only applies to the new instrument panels in euro's 2006 and above.

Does anyone know what the number & letters mean ?

I noticed that too, I think its the serial number of the odometer unit and used to track people doing a dodgy odometer replacement to fake lower km's.

^ agree with that.. the number use for matching the odometer with the car from factory.. but i wonder how to check and match the number on odometer with the car?
