Gen2 CR-V Fuel Meter

I get a 2006 CRV Sport. 10K on the clock and everything are fine except the fuel meter.

As the manual said the CR-V tank is 58L. Normally I will fill up the tank when then The fuel meter show 25% remanet. But I only need fill up around 30L. :eek: This just cunfuse me because this mean there is 18L reserve fuel that not show by the meter. :(

Is any one have same question? Thanks.

I couldn't understand that too well, but I think CRV's have a problem with the the fuel meter like a friend who has one always complaining aboutthe low fuel light coming on at about 1/4 tank full think Honda has issues with the float and sender in the tank I think. Anyone else want to shed light on this??

Yup fuel meter is screwed in my 05 CRV.

When a quarter of the tank is left, I fill up and it only adds 20 litres or so. Weird.

Yeah same as ours. had the sender unit replaced and all good... duno if it was a revised part but we just ordered it from Honda for our i think 04 or 05 model.
