You mean the crank pulley?

I just did mine two days ago!

If you are lucky, the thread won't be damaged and you should be able to just put a new pulley in and bolt it up. If you are unlucky, the damage could be worse.

BTW: A new pulley from Honda Australia is going to be EXPENSIVE! Call up Robert at Hanny's (but something tells me you're not in Sydney!

You should be able to find a second hand one.

What exactly happened? I'm thinking the bolt has snapped, with some of the bolt still left in the thread.

Calm down a bit and explain!

i am calm..
the bolt is still normal.. no scratches. no thing..
like a new bolt

the pulley however is ruined in the middle.. the little cut in it is rounded off.. and those ziggy zaggy teeth are rounded too..

i think the bolt became undone.. and was spinning freely sometimes..
and suddenly today the bolt got abit more loose.. and the pulley started to tap the chassis..

after like 200 metres down road.. it went pak pak pak pak pak

then.. eveything was disabled
no power steering.. no nothing.. just for brakes...
my car i cursing it..

i also need a new steerinf colum..
cause when i turn it into ignition. no lights light up
so i made my own switch to manually turn it on..

my car is a junk yard.. someone help me@@

Shame on you son.

Seriously though, this can happen to anyone. Just take a chill pill and work out what went wrong and take it from there.

A lighter pulley generally gives you better throttle response. An underdrive pulley 'may' give you a bit more power.

But it all depends on the weight of the pulley, where the weight is distributed.
