Hey guys i just need some help with something that happened to my car tonight it is aa honda civic Ej8 turbo with a aftermarket power fc computer, i was driving down hume highway in Bankstown and all of a sudden my engine light came on and my car was jerking while i was acclerating. So i backed off and the engine lgiht was still one so i drove slowy and den it started to jerk again so i pulled over to one of the streets to check it out. I popped up my bonnet and took a look everything sounded fine there was not problems with it i took a look at my revs and it was idolling how it would be. So right now im clueless so what can it be??? :)
u should check intercooler piping to see if they are secure and tight. this problem happen to me a while ago.

if intercooler piping came off, it would of made a loud bang noise like you blew something. Are you losing power?

No its not my pippin becoz when it happened and i pulled over for abit and then the engine light went away. So i drove it again and it was fine still boosting freely so it cant be my intercooler piping becoz i blew off my intercooler pippin before and it didnt jerk my car. i Asked my mate and he goes it could be the map sensor could that be it???

lol couped up, just do a K-swap.
On a serious note, Do a ECU check. Might be your tps sensor.

Something got to do with ECU. If your cooler piping came off, you'll lose power and it would be very noticeable.
Do an ECU check for codes is where i would start

should be able to see on the pfc handcontroller if the throttle position sensor voltage rises smoothly

If your referring to DynoDave, then he DIDN'T tune couped up car. As said head back to your tuner.;)
check engine light would indicate a sensor playing up. possibly MAP or TPS as suggested. U can get service limits from your usual manual and easily check them on the PFC hand controller.
This isnt a nissan (which run a AFM). Cooler piping will do nothing but make the car slow.
