Hmm...i just bought some new 1 piece headlights on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/90-91-92-93-ACURA-INTEGRA-EURO-1PC-HEADLIGHTS-LIGHTS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33710QQihZ010QQi temZ200106791703QQrdZ1
but they havent arrived yet. My question is this: All the US headlights ive seen always have their inner lights on without the outer ones on. These inner ones are our high beams and with us it works the other way around, the outer ones are for low beam and both of the m for high. Im just worried that when they get here (From USA) that the wiring will be all screwed around. Is this a possibility? and if so, would it be easy to fix?

When they have there inner light on "high beam" or "fog lights" as they call them they have them rewired so that the inner light turns on without the normal one http://www.g2ic.com/tegtips/lighting/1.html.. I think you will be alright but they are from ebay and from the US being Acura not Honda so you never know..Might just need to rewire them...

Cool headlights those. i like the black housing one though, they look almost OEM if you didn't know the car.

let us know how you go, but I think that any re-wiring would be a fairly simple affair would love to see these when they are on the car.

your headlights WILL require rewiring

and I THINK they also use different bulbs.. not the H4H's that we have in our OEM lights...

heres a link you might want to refer to for rewiring...

i need help with this aswell! i had my projector headlight and i'm never happy when its on at night! as 1989typer said that you can never have both lights on at the same time as you turn your high beams on the low beam switches off and when low beam is on the high beam is off! I bought the headlights of at ebay aswell and it came with an H7 plug wich made it even hard for me to plug in... so, i took the H7 connector off the headlight and took off the H4 socket from the cars original wiring and connected the wires directly! it works, but i wonder if there is a way that i could make both low beams and high beams work at the same time specially on a bad weather.... do you think i should just get a new set of foggies to fix my night vision problem? anyway, any help will begood....thanks!

its not very hard.. just have to wire the lights separately.. normal headlights will work normally.. clicking to highbeams will turn the high beams on.. and a separate switch for the foglights in the dash..

this is what i did for my fogs (JDM headlights).. these replaced the highbeams on the AUDM headlights and used to come on with the high beams.. like so.. (you will need a relay for the fogs on the separate switch)

Originally my DA9 used to switch off the outer low beam (and the high beam too) and only make the middle high beams come on (no fog bulbs, just 100w white) now that I have done a complete B16a half cut conversion, I am running the JDM wiring, so I now have it so thatwhen I hit high beam, the outer low beam switches to high beam and I can still turn the inner fog/high beams on as the JDM dash came with a fog light switch.

While doing the conversion I replaced the entire front wiring looms from the AUDM to the JDM ones, total pain in the A as I removed the entire dash and under-dash looms, fusebox etc, but at least now its all JDM factory, only difference so far is I have a wire or 2 missing which means interior light wont shut off, and rear wiper doesnt work, at some point will troubleshoot all this, just CBF right now..

If you need any help just PM or reply and we can draw a diagram, would be good to see your pikkys when they are done.

Actually Fr33k, after seeing yours, I am thinking of putting yellow bulbs in the middle, but I also have a set of Raybrig fog/driving lights, should look like a Christmas tree when finished :) Then again I very rarely drive through fog, so it would just be bling haha

they lookie bling bling...

what i wanna know is if there are any more costs involved in getting them to aust..? do you nned to pay for customs or taxes etc. can any one fill me in ?

oh and .. for FR33K, are there extra lights in your normal headlights? (refer to the 1st pic you posted)

i dont think you will have to pay any customs or taxes etc..
my normal headlights dont have extra lights... they have the normal outer parker light, the middle H4H lo/hi beam, and the inner fog lights (replacing second highbeam on AUDM headlights)

no fog bulbs, just 100w white

100w lights in your highbeams !!!?? are you sure ?!? lol

my fogs are 35w, standard high beam is 50w(?).. your using double.. how does it not melt your housings ?

Damn, now I have to draw one hahaha, no seriously, its not too hard, but you should definately have a relay, shame you are not in Sydney, I would do it for you for the cost of a mars bar or 2 :)

Fr33k: I have not had any major heat issues i can see, but i blew a fuse the other night so will have to investigate, the standard H4 (or is it H3) fits in with no probs, so yeah 100W Yihaa!

Actually, do you mean my standard outer lights or the inner ones? I have 100W ones in the outer lights, they are a really white set from Hong Kong, I think they were Raybrig too, about $90AU and the inner fogs have a 100W H4/H3

Only thing I really want to do now is put an earthing kit in, current flow would be better and lights brighter

are you talking about the big red square fuse in the fuse box in the engine bay ?

are you talking about the big red square fuse in the fuse box in the engine bay ?

nah im not sure where it is situated Cos when i wired up my halos i think i blew the line from the relay or the highbeam/foglight switch on the relay. as all my fuses are still intact. So what i have done is use the same power for the highbeam as the foglights but i still want to rectify the issue

Hey! Yeah, ive got a couple of pics. They worked out well! i didnt have to re-wire them, as i just modified the little clip that holds the globe in, so that i could fit the standard H4H's in and use my existing wiring. Too easy! :D

your so lucky, mine were A BITCH every plug was wrong and it all had to be hardwired, the halo wires wernt long enoguht o reach parker lights and the globes which came with the lights all didnt work.

put you indicators back in it looks better. I didn't use the indicaters that came with the headlights. Or connect them in series with you halo indicators, or you could even shave the holes. Apart from that it looks tough:thumbsup:

Projectors from a civic. I had to alter the lens cutoff plate inside as i noticed they were set to a US right hand side. simple job of taking them apart and turning over the plate.

they will be installed to still use h4h or altered set of hid. which i already have :)

yeah, mine was the same tooo... since mine came with the h7 bulb plug, i had to cut them off and hardwire them directly. just wanted to ask you guyz with the sme projectors...does your fog light turn on w/ the high beam bulbs? and when those two are on, the driving lights turn off? coz that s how mine works, don't know if that is how it supposed to be or when you go high beam.. should it all light up at the same time as i feel that the highbeam isn't enough when the drive lights are off.... let me know... thanks guys!

i made it so that the high beams are on at the same time as the fog lights. The low beams then turn off. Just how stock is however with the standard headlights they come with a dual filament globe which houses the low and high beam in one. when high beam is activated the low beam is turned off at the same time as fog lights turn on

yeah...same here... do you find that it doesn't cover much light compare to the stock? also, mine came in without the beams aligned (the low beam), i have been adjusting it turning left or right but it doesn't align... can you please tell me how to align the beams to the middle as i am very frustrated with this. or am i moving the wrong one? i normally adjust the the one on the top in between the parker and the low beam... is that all i need to adjust or is ther more at the bottom ? thanks

sounds like me! Untill i realsied that i was better of moving the whole actual headlight. So loosen all the bolts and then align it then tighten the bolts:thumbsup: Worked a treat for me!

Yeah, same, i just moved the whole headlight to align them. Just stuck some washers under the top bolts to angle them down a bit, so that low beam doesnt shine in peopls eyes.

nice ! although its a shame the cloudy lense will hide it all.. and i think you might struggle a little to aim the headlights..

if you did that to the new ebay 1 pieces it would be perfect ! like this...

OR you could try sanding down the inside of the OEM lense but that would be a bitch... like this

Finished them today. Didnt end up putting in the halos as they were a little too big.
Yeah, shame about the stock lenses covering them up. Other draw backs can be plastic yellowing and plastic stress can be seen.
Aligning them isnt to bad. Da9 lights have a few ways of adjusting. Mount position and internal lens adjustment.

Night Shots Please!!!!!!

ACTI0NMAN-1

I took a few night shots tonight. They didnt come out too well mainly due to a crappy kodak camera. tried adjusting the shutter speed but it was either too dark, too flared (light) or it made the lights look yellow.

I need someone with a better camera to take pics.
Maybe i can talk DA9B18C into taking a few pics once he's done his engine swap.
