dc5r oem exhaust size

hey guys just wonderin the standard exhaust size for the dc5r..
i would expect it to be no less than 2.25 inches but i been lookin at a dc5r for sale and apprantly its got a custom 2.25 exhaust on it..
which leads me to a new question..

say it is custom there wouldn't be many benefits from keeping the same size piping would there? unless it had a rather good flow though??
coz i assumed if u go bigger then it allows more power to be exherted etc ...

well i just took a couple of measurements for you of my stock exhaust.
at the start of the B-pipe where it meets the cat is ~50mm/2"
at the end of the b-pipe past the mid resonator is closer to ~57mm/2.25"
tho a majority of the piping appears to ~50mm/2"

what i do know is its freakin heavy...

hope that helps, if you want any other measurements of it, let me know, its just sitting in my garage.

i guess if a light weight exhaust was pu ton same size and was hi flow still would make a difference
