I was driving the other day and all of a sudden my car just shutted off...this is the second time it has done this...Does anyone know what this problem could be? I suspected it could be my alternator, but i could be wrong....

i have a honda accord 1994, i sumtimes get the same problem, my problem is the fuel pump, this would happen every now and then after a hammering, my mechanic told me the accord wasnt built for speed more for a luxury family car, thats y the pump wont keep up if i keep red linning it.

get it checked out it could be an electrical fault, my civics positive wire came un done a few time sto the fuel pump and it cut out.

no offence dude but thats the biggest load of BS I have ever heard. your mechanic doest know much about accords.

people turbo these things and use the factory fuel pump and regulator and it keeps up no probs.

you should be looking at your ICM or even the ignition switch if your getting random cut outs.
