View Full Version : Removing DC Climate control?? HeLP!

hey i tried reading a review on taking off the dc climate control because i want change the bulbs to amber bulbs haha.

but when it says to pull off the hazzar light button and defroster button how do you do this?

tried pulling and using a screwdriver it wont budge!

any ideas on people who have done this?

i looked up team-integra.

but where u pull out the hazzard light and defroster tab i feel as if im going to break it the wya i am pulling it out??? any one know the proper technique lol?

I would like to know too, but I've heard something about removing the section around the gear shifter first.

take teh hazzard and the demister swtich off theres 2 screws behind it
be care full taking it off use a small screw driver!

take your stereo out too there 2 more at back

here u go guys this should help ya.

if u got a jdm model then u dont need to unhook the wire, theres just two plugs behind the control that u have to unplug.

pretty easy

haha if anyone can take the hazzardf and dimister tabs off withtout breaking them let me know because im too scared they will break.

if you look at the buttons from underneath you can see there is a little lip to slip like a flat head screw driver. you should be able to just wedge them out with the screw driver. its only a clip as we all know how much honda love there clips

some people want to change to the type r fake carbon panel, i jsut want to chagne the light bulbs to amber but a bit cbf atm.

u just have to pull it... i done all my lights blue its not to hard to do etc....

i jus grabbed the hazard with my hand and pulled it.... then there are the 2 screws and u need to remove also the temp wire adjustor thingo at passenger side footwell

did u have to pull it very very hard stanleym?

because mine doesn't budge at all! lol used a screwdriver too.

ur clips may be rusted... mine was so i used pliers and yanked it out.

i did it today...
there's a small slot to stick a flat head screwdriver in from the under side of the tab...
put the blade in....pry at it as well as pulling it with your hands...it might be just abit sturdy but dont be scared to apply abit of pressure..
you may also have the problem that G-Stick...if so...take his advice
