He guys just got my CRX back from crash repair and they took my engine out to re do my chassie, i went to drive it home and I couldnt put it into gear properly so dad said cos its just been sitting there the clutch will stick a bit so thats ok, I went to take off and the engine light came on and thats a brand new engine only done 3,000 KMs and at lights it would idle at 2000 rpm but when I poked the gas a bit in Nutral it would go back to 1000 - 1500 rpm, wahts goin on???

Just turn the ignition key to the 2nd position "ignition ON" & tell us how many times the light in the front of the ecu flashes at u,no need to touch the ecu, dont be scared

check that all the plugs in the engine bay are connected.
the ones on the throttle body, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, temp sensors as well that are on the cylinder head.
most probably, they forgot to plug it in.
just take a quick look.

and yeah, if that fails, do the ecu check as well.

Nop... it will not be a problem doing the ecu checking... follow the guide at DIY did by bennjamin....
http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8218
its a pretty easy job to do... n from there u can determine wats wrong with ur car... as the engine light will come on to show u wats slow...remember to turn ur key to 'ignition on' but not engine start...
but yea... the best is to send ur car back to the workshop to get it done...!!

Cheers

There really is nothing to break. Just remove carpet to see ecu (dont even have to unscrew the ecu from its mounts) and turn ignition to the 'on' position and count the number of flashes.

Does the car still have symptoms or is just the light on?

Try reseting your ecu to see if the light will go away by pulling the "HAZARD FUSE" out for 5 secs located in the engine bay fuse box,its the 10A fuse furthest towards the drivers side if your labelling has gone.
