That's because you need to be signed in (ie a member) to search Ben.

Should be fine now. Took a little while for the search index to build following the problem I'd say.

Is that the same thing dc2dc2dc2 was talking about in regards to it showing old posts only?

Server issues wyn..
Mine hasnt been working properly for a while - esp at night from about 6pm onwards, when u click the new posts link, it brings up threads with new posts - but when u look at the time of post, its always something that was posted 30+mins ago.
Last night the link didnt seem to be working at all,
Though this morning it seems to have fixed itself..

It might lag about 30 mins at times.......but shouldn't be more than that. Should be fine now though.

lol don't worry ben you're not the only one, it happens to me all the time - even when I've only been logged in for a minute or two.

These days I've been getting the not signed in page when I go to the next page of a lounge thread (logged in for about 5-10 mins).

firefox compatibility issues? i dunno.

sounds like it could be the amount of traffic the site is getting. especially if its happening after 6 (once most people get home from work etc)

Don't think its firefox otherwise it'd be happening all the time nto just during that time period.

just an update.

accessing OH on this computer (firefox) often logs me out when clicking on various links ( gallery , userCP , new posts all seem to log me out) . But if i click "back" i am logged back in.
Any hints as to whats happening ?!?

Sounds like a cookie problem. Did you preheat the oven first before putting the cookies in ben?

no i at the dough before even getting anywhere near the oven. I only put the m+m's in ,hence the meltdown.

BTW issue seems to be fixed :)
